Uncle Dom’s Caprese Sandwich

Taking a classic Italian appetizer and transforming it into a delicious sandwich for lunch.

1Cut the baguette into half lengthwise. Whisk together the oil, vinegar, garlic & oregano with the Inglehoffer Dijon Mustard to make a vinaigrette dressing.
2Spread the dressing on the interior bread side of the baguette.
3Layer the remaining ingredients on one side of the baguette, cover with the other to form a sandwich.
Note: without the baguette, this recipe also is great as a salad. Substitute bocconcini (small mozzarella balls) for the sliced mozzarella.
