Wild Caught Cod

Nothing like cod swimming in a delicious Honey Mustard pineapple sauce! This fresh fish recipe is light, delicious, and oh so easy. The simple sauce featuring Honey Mustard packs a punch of flavor and perfectly complements this cod centerpiece.

  • Yields: 2 Servings


2 4 ounce wild caught cod filets (2 total filets -1 filet per serving)

4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1/4 cup rice vinegar

1/2 cup sake

1 tablespoon soy sauce

2 tablespoons Beaver Brand/Inglehoffer Honey Mustard

1/4 cup fresh or frozen pineapple bits


1Mix the oil, vinegar, sake, soy sauce, and mustard in a blender and blend until smooth

2Marinate the cod filets for 2 hours in half of the blended mixture

3Place the marinated cod on a medium hot barbecue grill and cook until done - approximately 3 to 4 minutes per side

4While the cod is on the grill, combine the remaining marinade from the blender with the pineapple in a sauce pan and bring to a boil

5Remove the cod from the grill and pour the heated pineapple marinade over the cod and serve
