The first World Championship of Mustard competition was held in 1995 in Napa Valley, California. That year, Inglehoffer was awarded Grand Champion for its Horseradish Mustard out of over 300 competitors. Today, mustard companies continue to compete each year for medals in various categories as well as to be the overall champion. Beaverton Foods has won over 150 medals with wins in every category – and more collective medals than all other mustard companies combined.

In 1929 Rose Biggi began Beaverton Foods by bottling horseradish in the cellar of her farmhouse to help her family endure the Great Depression. Such humble beginnings have given way to America's favorite specialty condiment company.
